Architectural Signage
Architectural signage is often central to how a brand is experienced within a space. With almost 30 years of signage manufacturing and metal fabrication expertise, we combine design intent with practical delivery to create signage that is both visually impactful and built to last.
Our approach brings together two complementary routes: fully bespoke fabrication for unique, design-led projects, and SignPik — our curated selection system designed to simplify specification while maintaining quality and flexibility. Across both, we offer a wide range of premium materials and finishes, ensuring each solution is tailored to its environment, application and brand.
Key features
Flexible Specification
Whether working within defined parameters or developing a fully bespoke solution, our signage can be tailored to suit project requirements, design intent and budget. SignPik offers a structured starting point, while our in-house team can extend beyond this where needed.
Premium Material Finishes
A wide range of high-quality finishes are available, from standard SignPik options through to specialist anodised and electroplated coatings. This allows signage to align seamlessly with architectural materials, brand palettes and surrounding environments.
Integrated Illumination
Signage can be designed with integrated lighting solutions, including halo, face and edge illumination. Drawing on our expertise in backlighting, we ensure consistent light quality and a refined visual result across all applications.
Assured Quality
With almost 30 years of signage manufacturing and metal fabrication experience, quality sits at the core of every solution we deliver. From finish and detail to overall presentation, our signage is developed to meet the high standards Applelec is known for across the industry.

Choose your approach
We offer two complementary approaches to architectural signage, allowing you to select the most suitable route for your project.
SignPik provides a curated selection of letter styles, materials and finishes, designed to simplify specification while maintaining flexibility. It offers a structured starting point, helping to streamline decision-making without compromising on quality or appearance.
For projects requiring a more tailored solution, our bespoke signage service allows for complete design freedom. From unique forms and detailing through to integration within architectural features, each element can be developed in response to the specific needs of the space.
A Range of Signage Styles
A wide range of signage types are available across both SignPik and bespoke routes, allowing solutions to be tailored to different environments and applications.
At the core of our offering are flat cut and built-up letters, including rim and return and rimless constructions, as well as block acrylic lettering. These can be delivered as non-illuminated or illuminated features, with lighting options including halo, face illumination, cabochon and LED Neon.
Alongside lettering, we manufacture a broader range of architectural signage elements, including sign trays and fascias, projecting signs, plaques and plates, as well as larger format features such as totems and monoliths.
We also offer award-winning, environmentally conscious letter solutions, supporting projects where sustainability is a key consideration.
Each solution is developed in response to scale, viewing distance and surrounding materials, ensuring signage integrates seamlessly within its environment while delivering clear visual impact.

Premium Finishes and Materials
Finishes play a key role in how signage integrates with its surroundings. A wide range of options are available, from the curated SignPik selection through to more specialist finishes for bespoke applications.
This includes premium painted finishes, anodised coatings and electroplated metals, offering a variety of tones, textures and reflectivity levels. These options allow signage to align closely with architectural palettes, interior schemes and brand identities.

Considered for Installation and Longevity
Every signage solution is developed with both design intent and practical delivery in mind. Consideration is given to materials, construction methods and installation requirements from the outset, helping to ensure a smooth process from specification through to completion.
Whether part of a wider architectural scheme or a standalone feature, signage is designed to be durable, maintainable and consistent in its appearance over time.

"BrightLINE from Applelec Lighting was the ideal system for this project as the lightboxes were exceptionally shallow at just 60mm depths. The slim LED solutions fitted perfectly within the challenging location, and achieved a flawless finish for the faux window designs. The system couldn’t have been easier to fit, with Applelec Lighting pre-mounting the BrightLINE solutions ready for an extremely quick installation."
