Impact through product design
Sustainability is embedded into our ECO product range through the use of environmentally conscious materials and design for disassembly, enabling responsible end of life recovery alongside reduced energy consumption in use.

Across our wider product offering, we apply the same principles where possible through more efficient manufacturing processes and offering eco engineering solutions on a project by project basis, advising on material alternatives and specification choices to help reduce impact without compromising performance.

Our sustainability approach extends beyond specification and installation. Through the Applelec Recycling and Refurbishment Scheme, qualifying products can be returned at end of life for responsible recycling or refurbishment, helping to keep materials in use for longer and reduce unnecessary replacement.

Materials including aluminium, acrylic, LEDs and electrical components are separated through specialist partners, supporting a more circular approach to signage and architectural lighting.
