Decorative Lighting
Decorative lighting is often central to the identity and atmosphere of a space. Our bespoke luminaires combine creative intent with technical precision, delivering fully considered lighting features that are designed to perform as beautifully as they look.
By designing, engineering and manufacturing in-house, we ensure each luminaire is not only visually resolved, but practical to produce, install and maintain. Whether standalone features or integrated into wider schemes, our solutions are developed to support both design ambition and project delivery.
Key features
Project-led design
Every lighting feature is designed in response to the space, allowing full flexibility in form, scale and detailing.
Integrated illumination
Light sources, diffusion and control are engineered from the outset to ensure consistent, high-quality illumination.
Architectural integration
Luminaires can be developed as standalone features or fully integrated within metalwork and interior structures.
UK manufactured
Designed, engineered and produced in-house to ensure reliability, buildability and smooth installation on site.

Bespoke design & engineering
Every luminaire is developed in response to the project, allowing full flexibility in form, scale and finish. From concept sketches through to technical development, we work to ensure the design intent is maintained while meeting the practical requirements of manufacture, installation and compliance.
This approach enables truly bespoke lighting features that integrate seamlessly within the wider scheme, rather than adapting off-the-shelf products.

Integrated lighting expertise
With over 25 years of experience in backlighting and illumination, we bring a deep understanding of how light behaves within architectural elements. Light sources, diffusion, control and maintenance access are considered from the outset, ensuring consistent, high-quality illumination across every project.
Where required, luminaires can be developed as part of a wider integrated solution, combining decorative metalwork, structural elements and lighting into a single, cohesive system.

Manufactured for delivery
Manufactured in the UK, our luminaires are engineered with installation, durability and long-term performance in mind. We consider fixing methods, tolerances and access requirements early in the process, helping to reduce on-site complexity and ensure a smooth installation.
This results in lighting features that not only achieve the desired visual impact, but are reliable, maintainable and aligned with project timelines.

Premium finishes & materials
A wide range of premium finishes and materials can be applied to each luminaire, including powder coating, anodising and specialist metal finishes. This allows lighting features to align precisely with surrounding materials and architectural details, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality final result.

"BrightLINE from Applelec Lighting was the ideal system for this project as the lightboxes were exceptionally shallow at just 60mm depths. The slim LED solutions fitted perfectly within the challenging location, and achieved a flawless finish for the faux window designs. The system couldn’t have been easier to fit, with Applelec Lighting pre-mounting the BrightLINE solutions ready for an extremely quick installation."
